LearnMate combines new technologies with solid instructional design principles to provide a comprehensive e-learning system designed to engage learners, encourage participation, and increase retention of knowledge. People learn best when they have the opportunity to "do it themselves". LearnMate's interactive environment allows students to try out processes and procedures for themselves in a manner that closely replicates real-life trial-and-error. Through LearnMate, students can connect a complicated electrical circuit, assemble a pulley mechanism or activate a photoelectric sensor - all through their own desktop PC.
DEPCO's Manufacturing Processes Lab is a project-based modern manufacturing technology lab that gives students real-world experience by emphasizing safety, hands-on learning, and teaching organizational skills. Step-by-step project guides give students all of the information they need to successfully complete each project. Level One is designed for grades 7th thru 9th and Level Two is specifically for grades 8th thru 10th.
Projects can be purchased in a lab package with or without optional equipment and furniture, or they can be purchased separately and used in a classroom as an additional lesson!
DEPCO’s Industrial Automation and Pre-Engineering (IAP) program is a skill-based, hands-on, interactive learning system that promotes higher-level learning. This program utilizes equipment and software that is standard in today’s industries. IAP provides students with not only the basics, but also the advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills needed to have the competitive edge in today’s job market. Founded in 1984, CNC Software is one of the oldest companies in the PC-based CAD/CAM industry. The company was built on the concept of providing an inexpensive PC-based CAM system at a time when most other systems were expensive CAD oriented products. CNC Software was one of the first companies to introduce CAD/CAM software designed for the machinist and the engineer, providing a practical solution to both markets. The original version of Mastercam was founded in two-dimensional (2D) CAM. Mastercam was one of the first micro-based CAM packages to include CAD capabilities which allowed the user to construct his or her own parts quickly and easily.
